Mr. Brar's principal areas of practice include labor and wage and hour law counseling and litigation. He represents employees in wage and hour and other labor law related matters in both federal and state courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before federal and state agencies. Mr. Brar represents employees in matters related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, including administrative investigations into wage and hour complaints.

Along with practicing in state courts in Utah, he is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeal for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States District Court of Utah.

Prior to starting a law practice,  Mr. Brar practiced as a licensed professional engineer in Utah and Wyoming.

• Dennis et al. v. EG&G Defense Materials, Inc. -- Claims for unpaid wages for work during meal periods is pending before the Utah Federal District Court.

• Self et al. v. TPUSA, Inc. and Teleperformance Group, Inc. --Claims for unpaid wages and overtime by Customer Service Representatives who worked for call centers nationwide for Teleperformance. The case is currently pending before the Utah Federal District Court.

• Schemkes v. Presidential Limousine et al. -- Claims for unpaid minimum wages and overtime by Limousine Drivers who worked for Defendant Limousine Companies in Nevada. The case is currently pending before the Nevada Federal District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada.

• Glines et al. v. EPlanet Communications, Inc. -- Claims for unpaid wages and overtime by Customer Service Representatives who worked at Eplanet Communications, Inc. call center in Orem, Utah. The case is currently pending before the Utah Federal District Court.

• Phelps et al. v. Parsons Engineering Science -- Claims for unpaid wages and overtime  by employees who worked for SwRI and/or Alion at NECDF, Newport, Indiana.  The case is currently pending before the Federal District Court for the District of Southern Indiana.

• Merriweather et al. v. Alion Science and Technology Corporation -- Claims for unpaid wages and overtime  by employees who worked at NECDF, Newport, Indiana.  The case is currently pending before the Federal District Court for the District of Southern Indiana.

• Merriweather et al. v. Southwest Research Institute -- Claims for unpaid wages and overtime  by employees who worked at NECDF, Newport, Indiana.  The case is currently pending before the Federal District Court for the District of Southern Indiana.

Ms. Preston's principal areas of practice include labor and wage and hour law counseling and litigation. She represents employees in wage and hour and other labor law related matters in both federal and state courts, as well as in administrative proceedings before federal and state agencies. Ms. Preston represents employees in matters related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, including administrative investigations into wage and hour complaints.

In addition, Ms. Preston represents individual clients in criminal cases before the State and Federal Courts.

Along with practicing in state courts in Utah, she is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeal for the Tenth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Court of Utah.
